Summa is pleased to announce its SummaCut
an outstanding series of SummaCut plotters, which are
intended to position Summa cutters at the highest level
of competitiveness in the market.
The SummaCut series is a new
evolution on the SummaCut platform. The OPOS X technology
of the high-end S Class has been integrated on this
cost effective vinyl cutting plotters, enabling the
Summacut to read cross-marks for contour cutting not
only on standard materials but also on reflective, holographic
or mirroring materials as well as through different
kinds of laminates. The SummaCut has already been using
for a longer time the most complex algorithms to compensate
any deformation of the print, and now it also offers
the best sensor technology. |

In order to improve productivity,
SummaCut supports Barcode reading and similar to the
professional S Class the OPOS system is automatically
activated and deactivated for continuous working without
operator intervention.
Similar to the S Class models, the Summacut
allows extended mode cutting, meaning it is possible
to be cut beyond the standard cutting width, making
sure you can use maximal material width and having minimal
material waste. |
With the integration of OPOS X , 1113 mm/sec
max speed, 400 gram of knife pressure, and a guaranteed material
tracking up to 8 meters, the SummaCut remains an unbeatable
cutting plotter in its price range.
The SummaCut series replace the SE-series and
will be offered in 4 sizes : 60, 120, 140 and 160 cm. The 120,
140 and 160 models include the stand with basket and all models
are shipped with Windows and Macintosh cutting software.
The SummaCut will be introduced to the European
public on Viscom Europe in Dьsseldorf and first customer shipments
are expected for the beginning of October 2008. |
